Interesting TED talk on how machines can become creative.

So the concept of Deep Machine Learning is based on a set of algorithms that attempt to model high level abstractions in data, which allows computers to have perception. Machine perception is the capability of a computer system to interpret data in a manner that is similar to the way humans use their senses to relate to the world around them.
For example, by using deep machine learning, the neural networks can be trained to recognize images and tell you what the image is representing (e.g. a bird). What if this process run in reverse, meaning that you have a trained network that recognized the image and you ask it to create an image of bird? Check out this interesting TED talk for fascinating demonstration of this concept, showing that perception and creativity are actually linked and the computer can be creative.
